Rocket Popsicles

With the hot summer whether I find myself making a lot of fresh fruit smoothies. They are DELICIOUS! They are pretty healthy too because I don't add anything but fruit. As long as you have one fruit that is pretty juicy (pineapple, watermelon, applesauce) you don't even need water or juice. One of my favorites has

8-10 strawberries
8-10 chunks of pineapple
1 small banana and
half a mango.
Blend.

If you use frozen fruit instead of fresh it still tastes good but makes the smoothie much thicker. You can really make any combo you'd like. I like kiwi, strawberry, and apple. Or mango, avocado, and lime. Or strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, yogurt, chia seeds and oatmeal. Peach is another great one. Greek yogurt, orange juice concentrate, chia seeds, or oatmeal are fun additions that also add different textures. I find it unnecessary to add extra sugar if you pick the right combos of fruit it will be plenty sweet. I have a glass and then put the rest in my rocket Popsicle molds to eat later with Trevor.
